Mr. Rios is the Principal Architect with Architect Design Associates, an architectural design firm established in 1993. Rios has accomplished architectural services in Hawaii for the past fifteen years; in addition, he worked with architectural firms in Texas for seven years in Texas. Rios has also been an instructor of architectural and mechanical drafting at college level.
Prior to his formal architectural training he worked in woodworking, metal fabrication and concrete fabrication shops. This gave him a hands-on understanding of building materials and contruction details. Prior to establishing his own firm, Rios worked for several prominent architectural firms providing a breadth and depth of exper-ience. Experience includes design, construction documents, project management and project architect.
Project knowledge and experience includes health care, cancer treatment facilities, historic preservation, offices, schools, apartments, military housing, high-rise resort condominiums, high rise offices, malls, shopping centers, hotels, motels, residences, and convention center expansions.

Historical preservation of the Historic Ewa Community has been recognized for its historic value to the Ewa Community. Historic Ewa honors include:

- 1994 Historic Award for Historic Preservation for the Ewa Villages Project.

Rios is particularly known for his knowledge of architectural detailing construction materials and methods with various building types. He is knowledgeable about various county, state, and federal regulatory requirements, which relate to both new and historic structures.
Rios is proficient in AutoCAD Architectural Desk 3.3, 3 D Studio Viz, MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Construction Cost Estimator, Project Planner and many other software titles.
Ms. Morton is an experienced interior designer and color specialist. As an interior designer Morton has worked on wide variety of building types, including healthcare, office, retail, family housing, and hospitality. Morton has also worked on color selection for a variety of buildings including the health care renovations, were she selected exterior and interior paint colors. She has also worked on historic homes were she matched the original paint colors for the Historic Ewa Village buildings. Morton has served as design faculty at both the School of Architecture at the University of Hawaii and Chaminade University. Morton has authored a series of books about color, she also teaches a certified continuing education class about color theory for interior design for the ASID nationally.
